The car tuning specialists from Novitec have rolled-out their latest line of aftermarket accessories for the new Alfa Romeo MiTo hatchback. The Alfa Romeo MiTo from the factory receives a turbocharged 1.4-liter petrol engine capable of producing 155 hp without any tuning.

With the Novitec Powerjet 2 control module the engine output is boosted to 186 hp which allows the Alfa Romeo MiTo to run from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, improving by .7 seconds from the stock time. For the diesel engines, Novitec released the Powerrail 5 control module for the 1.3 JTD and the 1.6 JTD. The diesel version boasts increases of 20 hp for the 1.3 JTD and 24 hp for the 1.6 JTD.
