BMW Alpina B7 Bi-turbo 2011
Alpina has has rolled-out their latest car long-wheelbase version of the BMW Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo at the Tokyo Motor Show. The B7 Bi-Turbo LWB joins the D3 Bi-Turbo at the company’s stand in Tokyo.
The BMW Alpina B7 Bi-turbo is boasts by a 507 horsepower 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces up to 700 Nm of torque. The long wheelbase version will likely not hit the 4.7-second 0-100 km/h mark set by the standard unit. Helping the engine generate more power are two large turbocharges mated to a tuned intercooler. Power is reigned in with a ZF six-speed automatic transmission.
