Jaguar XKR
Jaguar has rolled-out their latest evolution car of its supercharged XKR coupe at the Geneva Motor Show in March by introducing two latest optional performances and styling packs: Speed Pack and Black Pack, both packs are introduced to the XK range at 2011 Model Year. Also, Jaguar will offer the customers an option to further personalize their vehicle to create a car with even different performance.
The XKR Coupe with new optional Speed Pack offers an extending top speed from 155mph (250km/h) to an electronically limited 174mph (280km/h) with engine and transmission recalibration. The XKR also fitted with a revised front aerodynamic splitter and larger rear spoiler. The XKR’s Active Differential Control has also more adjusted.
Other enhancements for the 2011 Jaguar XKR include red brake callipers that become standard on all XKR Coupe and Convertible models, while a tyre repair Instant Mobility System (IMS) becomes standard on all XK and XKR models. In the UK, retail pricing of the XK range starts at £61,955 for the 5.0 n/a V8 petrol. The Speed Pack costs £3,500 and the Speed and Black Pack costs £4,000. Both are available on XKR Coupe only.
